This is if our tools and modifiers don't work as expected. Note though that just like with any other kind of object, if we scale or rotate we may have to apply the scale and rotation. We can use these transformations to make basic changes. In object mode we have our regular transformations available. We only have two modes available with a text object. Just keep this in mind as we continue to learn more about text. Each letter is made up of one or more curves. Therefore, many settings are inherited from curve objects.
